This hotel is in a great location right on the beach road. I had a large comfortable clean room decorated to a good standard, The staff were friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times but I would definitely book this hotel when I return later this year.

We were very happy with our stay at Golden Beach. We had a deluxe sea view room, it was a nice size room with a comfortable bed. We were on the 15th floor and with only two small elevators it was sometimes slow. The room had a safety deposit box (an important feature for us) small balcony with no chairs, but I am thinking that is more a safety issue with small kids, they have a lot of reading books in the lobby that you are free to take, excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choices and lovely pool. The only issue we had was the water changing from hot to cold in the shower, other than that it was a great room and I would stay here again. We did have problems with the wi-fi, but they fixed it immediately by placing a transmitter right outside our door. There was a family beside us with kids and the rooms were very sound proof, which made it very nice for us. Golden Beach is on the north beach which has more sandy beaches than south beach, which has a lot of large boulders as a retaining wall. Lots of restaurants, food stalls, 7/11’s and just about anything you want close by. There are no tuk tuks, only taxis that charge more than normal. You can rent bicycles anywhere along the beach road to get around and you will see a lot of people using them.

First visit to our condo in hotel and bringing friends- lovely location, friendly people, great breakfast with Golden Beach on your doorstep. Thinks has really only just opened up again so can’t wait for tourists to come back and enjoy and build more life into area. Lovely pool, gym and karaoke bar. Delightful decor. Not too posh and not too shabby- just right.

I stayed here last week with my family for 7 days. We had two interconnecting bedrooms, with comfortable beds, two flat screen tv's, lots of space for luggage, two bathrooms and fridges and a safe. The sea view was wonderful. The hotel lobby is spacious and the pool lovely for the kids. You can utilise beach towels there. All the staff here speak minimal English and it appears the hotel mainly caters for Thai people. I think we were the only European family there, which is fine, but felt a bit left out at times. There were lots of parties and musical events going on in the hotel nearly every night and the staff never invited us or even mentioned any of these to us. Nevertheless, our stay was comfortable and outside the hotel are numerous lovely restaurants, 7/11 shops and massage shops which we made use of. The beach is wide and long with white, soft sand and you can hire chairs/beds for £1. Hua Hin town is a 40min taxi drive away and we particularly enjoyed the night market there. There is also a fantastic waterpark nearby Hua Hin, which is a must if you have children and they like waterparks.Overall, good hotel and would recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights and 4 rooms. At first I had my skepticism as it is an older property. But if I had to say it out loud, this was the first hotel that I knew of that the pictures looked worse than the reality!!!!We got there and the staff were very helpful. They welcomed us like we were they're long lost family. Everyday, everyone smiled and seemed to enjoy being there. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are cozy!!! Air conditioners work perfectly. They kept their property runs and are not afraid to compete with all the newer hotels in the surrounding areas. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT !!!Breakfast was fantastic!! different options of western and local dishes. I love the swimming pool !!! Of course, if I may have a critic, I wish the mushroom area of the swimming pool was an adult swim-up bar !!! We kept on saying if it was a swim-up bar, we would probably stay in the pool day-in and day-out ! ....All in all, beautiful property. Don't let the pictures fooled you!!! STAY HERE!!!
